Rain Rain, Go Away

We had heavy rain overnight and into this morning. Then another round tonight. Once again, we pay for having a few really nice days. My dandelions are tall, but it's too wet to mow.

I guess IU's Little 500 bicycle race was this past weekend. There were almost 300 arrests--mostly for underage drinking and other alcohol-related behaviors. Each arrestee has to pay a $423 fine, plus other things. Wonder what Mommy and Daddy will think of that?! 'Tis one way to fill the Bloomington civil coffers, eh?

I took a mini-nap after supper tonight. Dozed for maybe 15 minutes...and it really helped! I might try that again. Meg is experiencing some "breathing" pain. Wonder if she wrenched her chest wall when she fell last night. (Now she's acting like me!)

Once again, I was greeted at Grandma Judy and Grandpa Phil's by calm children. They were outside visiting with the neighbors with Judy. Robin went into the house and got her book bag without being asked, and Ryan came along with no problem. Even Phil commented on how sweet Robin has been these last two days. If YOU can figure out what goes on in their toady little brains, tell me, will ya? I don't know what is different, but I like it! (I also know it won't last!)

My back is still a little messed up, with complications in my legs because I was pulling weeds on Sunday. Today the back is better but the legs are weak. Maybe one of these days, I'll get everything going in the same direction at the same time!
