Another Day in Paradise

I slept unexpectedly late this morning!  I think that is because I had a heavier comforter on the bed and was too toasty to need to get up.

Didn't accomplish much today, but at least I did more than yesterday.  Made a big pot of chili, did a little laundry, crawled around on the floor picking up trash that the dog has shredded all over the house...that sort of thing.  I did go out with the notion of shoveling snow, since we had a thaw today, but the crust is still too hard to break through with just a shovel!  At least the mound at the end of the drive melted down far enough that I don't hit bottom with my car.

I will be at an administrative meeting at school all day tomorrow, so I need to go in early in order to make sure everything is set up for the sub.  Took care of most of that on Friday, but I like to have things tied up in neat little packages...

I understand that my niece--the one who was in the head-on car wreck in November--is up and around now.  Maybe even driving??  You go, Laurie!!

Anyone want a dog?  I'm willing to give mine up, cheap!  (Like, REAL cheap.  Like, free!)  Heh heh...
