So...

I got up at 6:00 today.  Sat down at the computer and turned on the TV.  Huh?  There is a list of school delays.  Wonder why??  Whoa!  Plainfield schools were on a two-hour delay.  What's up with that?  <RING>  The phone...our school is under a two-hour delay, too.  Have to make my phone tree calls.  The reason?  Dense fog.  I mean DENSE fog!

With the extra two hours, I took a morning shower.  (I usually bathe before I go to bed, in order to save time in the mornings.)  Gave myself an extra 15 minutes to get to school...and glad I did.  At one point, I couldn't see the landmarks and was on top of a stop light before I saw it.  Fortunately, it wasn't dense the whole way to school...so I got there okay.  Will it happen again tonight?  It could!  It's 51 degrees outside today, and there is still plenty of snow on the ground...

My day wasn't too obnoxious, and I will be out of the classroom tomorrow for another meeting.  Maybe I can actually teach next week!
