I slept a little late this morning...8:30. Have some residual pain in the muscles in my back which requires that I "go slow". (That was my father's blessing every time I left to go somewhere: Go slow.) Still, I have done some laundry, some kitchen cleaning--most notably, the refrigerator. The result of refrigerator clean-out is always a load of refrigerator dishes...so I am on the second load in the dishwasher as I type. (It just occurred to me that I am writing about housework. I need to get a life!)
It is an absolutely gorgeous day...sunny and in the 80s. Need to call the boy to mow and get outside, but there is too much to do INSIDE in order to do all of that.
Meg is gone today, so I am on my own here. Every once in awhile, that feels good. I did lie down for a nap but couldn't fall asleep. Sometimes just getting quiet is enough. (Ack! Now I'm writing about naps!
Guess I'll sign off and wait until I have something interesting to write about!
