Big doin's in Indy this week, hosting the NFL championship game: Colts vs. Patriots. Even the grocery store, which had a big Colts and party food display for last week's game, has left the display up for this week's. 'Tis a big deal for Indianapolis! (Remind me to stay away from the Dome traffic this weekend!)
This has been kind of a humdrum week, so far. I've been catching up on paper-grading at school but not accomplishing much at home. (My choice.) I finally got new seating charts made and got my grade book set up for the new semester. It's always something!
I watched "Armed and Famous" on CBS tonight--the reality show that was filmed in Muncie, Indiana, where my children live. I don't think I like knowing how much crime there is in that burg!! Plainfield is so much safer (and closer to Gramma)!
Frodo, the Wunderbar Watchdog, is scratching herself silly. No fleas. Don't know what the problem is, but I suppose it means another trip to the vet. This little princess canine is expensive!
Winter has finally set in. We actually had a little skiff of snow on the ground in Monrovia where I teach. So far, we have dodged a number of winter storm bullets. I suppose the days for that are numbered. Sooner or later, we will have snow...
Not much else going on today. Go Colts!
