Got an email from our construction crew boss this afternoon to say that the garage project will begin on Tuesday. That gives me one extra day to get the garage cleaned out. And I'm thinking that I need to be here on Tuesday because Chris (from Summit Builders) and I haven't talked too much about the configuration of the new room--coupled with the fact that I have changed my mind a couple of times about some things. In any case, that which we have been fussing over for the past few months is about to become reality. Hallelujah! We will (eventually) all have our own bedrooms! It will be an adjustment for the children who have come to rely on having a parent or grandparent with them overnight, but I don't think Meg and I will need any time to adjust at all! It will probably be well into summer before we can get every room emptied, redecorated, cleaned, and refurnished, but at least the process will now be able to start. Wish me luck!
