I'm Beat!

It was a do-nothing day with the children.  We didn't go anywhere or do anything special.  And, believe it or not, they were pretty good!  Robin tried desperately to play "school" with her little brother, but he wasn't cooperating.  (I told her now she understands what it's like to be a real teacher!)

I managed to get a load of dishes and one load of laundry done, in between meals and taking care of some kid needs.  Ryan claimed that his tummy hurt, but he ate all day with vigor.  Robin played mostly by herself until evening when she and Ryan managed some raucous play.  When that deteriorated into fighting, it was bedtime.  I did get some cutting in done in Robin's room, and got some of the walls clean in Ryan's--plus filled holes.  I'm not happy with the way things look in either room, particularly, but Meg and I are both out of patience and steam when it comes to this project.  Meg got Ryan's room painted this evening.

On my plate tomorrow are: garbage cans to the street, cutting in along the ceiling in Robin's room, cutting in everywhere in Ryan's room, vacuuming and shampooing both carpets, painting a headboard and footboard, and trying to make a path from the front door to both bedrooms for Saturday's moving.  It's clear to me that we still have to be throwing away more stuff.

Robin is still awake.  I don't know how she functions!  I'm going to bed...
