All's Quiet...I Think

Meg is in her room preparing an assignment for one of her courses...due tomorrow.  I was Chief Cook and Bottlewasher most of the evening for the children.  I confess that I used the computer and the TV to keep things quiet while Robin did her homework, and thereafter.  Bad Grandma!

Would you believe that the first grading period is over next Friday at school?  That means that the school year is officially 25% gone.  It flies by!  October is a busy month with parent conferences and that sort of thing.  So is May.  The months in between have their challenges, too, but seemingly not as bad.  I just wish there was more time to sit back and smell the roses.  Roses??  It's October, for Pete's sake!

Tomorrow evening, we will be doing the Fall Fun Festival at Van Buren Elementary School.  Whoop-de-doo!  It's a fundraiser for the PTO, for good causes.  Still...on Fridays, I usually am pooped enough just to want to veg out.  Not this weekend!

Be well and prosper!
