I Think I Got a Compliment Today

One of my special ed. kids with dyslexia told me today that she is usually pulled out of English class to work with resource people, but that she liked me so much, she asked not to be.  That's fantastic...HOWEVER, her skills are so low that I virtually have nothing to give to her at her level.  One spec. ed. teacher sent me a couple of links to sites that provide spelling words at other levels.  Went to both of them...clicked on third grade, and found out in short order that even third grade words are too difficult.  <Sigh>

The grandchildren will be with us this weekend.  Robin is going to walk in the Quaker Day parade with her Daisy Girl Scouts...and we have other things planned.  I'm tired already!

We are still in the throes of getting rid of things.  Trying to find surfaces.  I don't look for this process to end until summer.  Come on, summer!
