It's Always Something!

Megan asked me this morning if the bathroom bothered me.  Huh?  What's up with that?  She said that the rug by the bathroom sink was wet.  She thought the children had spilled water...but it wasn't drying in the kids' absence...and the space under the sink was dry, so that wasn't leaking.  Hmmm...  Ryan H. was coming over after work to finish a job on my to-do list (patching a hole in the half-bath wall where one of the grandchildren decided to chin him/herself on the towel bar), so he went on a hunt for a leak.  Moved the stove out to look behind the dishwasher, etc.  Found lots of cobwebs and dirt, but no leak.  He did a little more exploring and came up with the problem.  The little tank for the condensate pump for the air conditioner was overflowing because the float was stuck.  He knocked it and it worked again.  (Unfortunately, I had to do it again later, so the problem isn't resolved until I take the thing apart and check on the float.)  It's always something!

I haven't accomplished much housework in the last 24 hours.  I just didn't feel like it, I guess.  Maybe tomorrow, I will be more inspired...
